Propagation
Sow fresh seed during early spring and pre-soak seeds in heated water 13º to 18ºC (55º-64ºF) for 24 hours. Germination is slow taking up to 15 weeks.

Soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dull green leaves are oblong to elliptical with a leathery texture and the underside has fine veins. The petiole is short and the apex is mucronate.

Flower: The campanulate flowers have 5-spreading glabrous petals with alternate exserted yellowish anthers. They are arranged in a axillary or terminal raceme up to 25mm (1in) long and appears from late winter to early spring.
