Propagation
Seeds require scarification by nicking the seed coat and soaking in water for 24 hours prior to sowing.

Semi-hardwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots during spring or autumn and placed on a misting bench.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile glabrous paripinnate leaves are composed of linear to elliptical pointed lobes that are up to 30mm (1?in) longand may be divided again.

Flower: The yellow-orange tubulate flowers have a pedicel up to 4mm (?in) long and the exserted red style to 30mm (1?in) long. The flowers are arranged in pendent terminal raceme that is up to 60mm (2?in) long and appear from autumn to spring.

Fruit: The narrow ovoid follicle is up to 6mm (¥in) wide with a glabrous pericarp and contains an elliptical seed that is up to 6mm (¥in) long with an apical wing.
