Propagation
Semi-hardwood cuttings of non-flowering shoots during spring or autumn and placed on a misting bench.

Sow fresh seeds in spring or autumn with a night temperature of 12 ºC (54 ºF) and a daytime temperature of 22 ºC (72 ºF).


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile leathery linear leaves are glabrous above and tomentose on the underside with a pungent mucronate apex. The revolute margins extend to the mid-vein giving the leaf a terete-like appearance.

Flower: The oblong tubulate flowers have perianth segments that are up to 7mm (¥in) long with a pedicle to 9mm (?in) long. The exserted curved style is up to 20mm (µin) long and the flowersare arranged in a sessile umbel-like axillary cluster that appears from late winter to early spring.

Fruit: The elliptical follicle is up to 4mm (?in) wide with a villous pericarp. It contains an oblong seed to 10mm (?in) long with an apical wing. The plant regenerates from seed after low intensity fire.
