Division of the clump (rhizome) during winter to early spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green sessile stiff leathery ovate leaves have an acute apex and a prominent mid rib.
Flower: The calceolate flowers have pointed linear sepals and petals that are whitish with some purplish markings and the lip has 3-lobes. They are arranged in a terminal raceme that is of 100 mm (4 in) long and appears during late autumn.
Fruit: The single chambered capsular fruit contains many small seed with no endosperm. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively, to maintain true to type.
