Propagation
Sow fresh seeds in situ during spring in a prepared bed with frost protection. Keep moist for 28 days allowing the seedlings to emerge.
When planting in rows space 200mm (8in) apart.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are 3-pinnate to trifoliate with each triangular leaflet divided into ovate pointed lobes. The petiole is short and the upper surface is glabrous and glossy.
Flower: The tiny cyathiform flowers are arranged in a terminal compound umbel that is up to 40mm (1?in) wide and held above the foliage on a tall slender scape from late spring to early summer.
Fruit: The tiny ovate fruit is compressed and arranged in a crowded umbel. The seeds are very viable.
