Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green long linear leaves are up to 10mm (?in)wide, flat and thin with an acuminate apex.
Flower: The flowers have large white petal-like sepals and smaller white petals with a yellow throat. They are arranged in a terminal spathes that are held above the foliage on a slender stiff stem to 600mm (2ft) tall and appearing in succession from spring to early summer.
Fruit: The capsule contains tiny seeds that are not commonly used and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
