Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 24º C. (66º to 77º F).

Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring and semi hardwood cuttings taken during summer and apply bottom heat.

Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green elliptical to oblong or lanceolate leaves are up to 140 mm (5½ in) long by 70 mm (2? in) wide with an accumulate apex and petiole up to 15 mm (? in) long with a cuneate base. The margin is dentate to serrate and may be undulating. The upper surface has prominent venation and the underside is a dull green.

Flower: The small white campanulate flowers or up to 4 mm (? in) wide with 5-glabrous ovate to oblong sepals and 5-ovate petals with 5-stamens. The pedestal is up to 2 mm (2/16 in) long and the flowers are arranged in a axillary raceme or panicle that is up to 70 mm (2? in) long and appear during spring.

Fruit: The white to pinkish ovoid berry-like drupe is up to 4 mm (? in) in diameter and has persisted sepals. The pedestal is short and the fruit is arranged in a nodding raceme. The small seeds are viable but the plant can be reproduced vegetatively.
