Propagation
Surface sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media, and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.

General pruning information
Eucalyptusspecies require little pruning apart from removal of damaged or dead wood, which should be taken off at the collar. If the tree is cut back hard it will produce epicormic shoots and the crown may be lifted or thinned by removal of selected branches.


Botanic information
Leaf: The juvenile leaves are ovate up to 110mm (4¥in) long with a short petiole and an obtuse apex. The adult leaves are narrow-lanceolate up to 17mm (?in) wide and are grey-green to slate grey, concolorous. The petiole is 12mm (½in) long and the apex is acute.

Flower: The diamond-shaped buds are up to 7mm (¥in) wide with a conical or beaked opercula and an angular pedicle. There are 3 to 7 flowers are arranged in an axillary panicle or umbel on peduncles up to 10mm (?in) long and appear from spring to early summer..

Fruit: The shortly pedunculated woody capsular fruit is ovoid to pyriform arranged in clusters, each with a, descending disk that may be obscured by the staminal rim. The 5-valves are at rim level or are enclosed.
