Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green oblong leaves have an abruptly acuminate apex and a prominent yellowish mid rib with pinnate venation. The underside is pail green and the petiole is short.
Flower: The tree is polygamodioecious and the calyx is tubulate with the upper part campanulate with no petals. They are arranged in an axillary spike or panicle and the flowering period is during spring but may vary in tropical regions.
Fruit: The dry 4-winged drupe contains large berry-like viable seeds. They are clustered along the branchlets and are yellowish green.
