Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 24º C. (66º to 77º F).
Culture
Under cultivation the tree grows quickly when young but normally grows smaller and can be used in large street plantings. The tree is in big demand for its timber and is farmed but is commonly attacked by borers.
Note:
Care should be taken when selecting a sight as the tree has vigorous roots that can lift concrete and block drains.
