Propagation
The seeds take 2 to 3 months to germinate. Pot up soon after germination into deep pots.
Botanic information
Leaf: The pinnate fronds have numerous long linear leaflets that are arranged in an upright 'V-shape', almost at 90º along the rachis and are accompanied by persistent threads. The fronds are grey-green above and silver-green below with along petiole.
Flower: The small yellow-green crateriform flowers are arranged in a twice branched inflorescence that is rusty brown towards its base. It is produces amongst the leaf bases and the flowering period is from late spring to early summer but in tropical regions this may vary.
Fruit: The obovate pome is olive green when mature and arranged in a large pendent cluster.
