Botanic information
Leaf: The light green trifoliate leaves have 3-obovate leaflets that are arranged clover-like. The upper surface is pubescent with undulating margins and the apex is broadly rounded. The leaf is held upright on a slender pubescent petiole.
Flower: The white to pink funnelform flowers are furled in bud and open with 5-expanding imbricate petals revealing a yellow throat. They are held up amongst the foliage on a slender peduncle and appear from autumn to winter.
Fruit: The small capsule is explosive, dispersing the tiny seeds that are very viable, but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively
