Propagation
Sow ripe seed and maintain a temperature of 20º to 25º C. (68º to 77º F).
Note:
This plant is not commonly cultivated and may be difficult to obtain requiring a specialist nursery.
Botanic information
Leaf: The larger juvenile leaves have up to 15-lanceolate lobes and the adult leaves are obovate with a petiole up to 20mm (µin) long. The undersides of both adult and juvenile leaves are silvery-coloured and the foliage is a feature of the tree.
Flower: The small flowers peduncle is short or absent and they are arranged in an axillary spike that is up to 150mm (6in) long and appears during autumn.
Fruit: The oval woody capsule contains 2-flattened winged seeds.
