Propagation
Sow seed when ripe in pots and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F), apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dull green leaves are lanceolate to narrow-elliptical with a leathery texture. The apex is obtuse and the petiole is very short.

Flower: The small white tubulate flowers are arranged in a axillary cluster towards the end of the branches and appear during spring.

Fruit: The woody beaked follicle splits into two solid valves containing 2 seeds that are winged.


General pruning information

This plant tolerates a light prune to a node normally after flowering. Do not prune into old wood as it will not regenerate and if the plant has become leggy and woody it will not regenerate after a hard prune, it requires replacement.
