Propagation
Semi hardwood cuttings taken during late summer to autumn, up to 50mm (2in) long.
Mound layering during spring.

General pruning information
Tolerates a light prune to maintain shape and encourage new growth. Do not prune into old wood as it will not regenerate.


Botanic information
Leaf: The small sessile dark green leaves are glabrous above and has long hairs on the underside. The apex is acute and the leaves are arranged in whorls of 4 along the pubescent stems.

Flower: The small pink urceolate flower has a restricted mouth and the reddish pedicel and sepals are covered in white hairs. The flowers are arranged in a terminal umbel that appears during summer.

Fruit: This is a 4-celled capsule with many small seeds thatare viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
