Propagation
Soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during spring and semi hardwood cuttings taken during summer.

Note:
This plant is tough and can tolerate a range of climatic conditions, pruning techniques and general neglect.

Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are ovate to elliptical with an obtuse to mucronate apex. The pubescent leaf margin has occasional larger, pointed serrations and the base is cuneate with a short petiole.

Flower: The funnelform flowers have a pink corolla with an orange mark and is accompanied by 2-lobed pinkish calyx. The flowers are arranged in the leaf axils solitary or in a small cyme and the flowering period is late summer but flowers may be seen throughout the year.

Fruit: The small one seeded leathery berry is not commonly produced and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
