Propagation
Sow fresh seed after storing in a dark place for 3-6 months in containers during spring.
Semi hardwood cuttings taken during summer and place on a misting bench. Take care when transplanting as the roots of very fine and can be damaged easily.
Botanic information
Leaf: The small sessile leaves are ovate to broad-elliptical and are concave with an obtuse or pointed apex. It has a stiff texture and is arranged densely along the stems.
Flower: The sessile cyathiform flowers have petals up to 2 mm long and the anthers are half exserted from the throat. The flowers are arranged in a terminal cluster that appears during autumn.
Fruit: The small capsule is loculicidally dehiscent and has numerous seeds that are dispersed by water and gravity. The small seeds are viable but the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
