Semi hardwood cuttings taken during late summer to autumn, up to 50mm (2in) long.
Mound layering during spring.
General pruning information
Tolerates a light prune to maintain shape and encourage new growth. Do not prune into old wood, as it will not regenerate.
Botanic information
Leaf: The small linear leaves are arranged in whorls of 3 and are lightly pubescent on the underside. The apex is acute and the petiole is very short or absent.
Flower: The campanulate flowers have white sepals and pink to white petals with small dark brown anthers that protrude from the mouth. The flowers are arranged in a panicle-like cluster towards the end of the branchlets and appear during spring.
Fruit: This is a 4-celled capsule contains many small seeds thatare viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
