Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 12º to 15º C. (55º to 59º F).
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The silvery green leaves are oblong to ovate and the surface is covered in fine silvery pubescence. The petiole is very short and the apex is obtuse to acute.

Flower: The campanulate flowers have 5-petals that are undulating along the margins and are solitary in the leaf axils towards the end of the stems. They appear in summer in shades of blue or pink with a white centre and are a feature of the plant.

Fruit: The small capsule contains 1 to 4small seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
