Propagation
Sow fresh seed during early spring and pre-soak seeds in heated water 13º to 18ºC (55º-64ºF) for 24 hours. Seeds may require scarification (peeling treatment).

Take soft tip or semi hardwood cuttings from summer to autumn.

Note:
This plant may be difficult to obtained, requiring a specialist nursery. Grafted forms on to Grevillea robusta are available.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile pinnate leaves are up to 30mm (1¥in) wide and have 5 to 7 linear leaflets that are up to 45mm (1µin) long and are pubescent on the upper surface. The apex is slightly pungent and the entire margins are revolute to the prominentmid-vein.

Flower: The tubulate flowers have villous perianth segments are pale yellow and the style is maroon to black up to 35mm (1?in) long. The flowers are arranged in a terminal or axillary cluster up to 70mm (2µin) long found on new and old growth. They appear from winter to early spring and are bird pollinated.

Fruit: The oblong follicle is up to 10mm (?in) wide with a thick pericarp and contains elliptical seeds to 12mm (½in) long with a wing around the margin. The small seeds are viable but the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
