Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).
Take stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.
Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy green long lanceolate leathery leaves are up to 75mm (3in) wide with whitish undulating margins. It has a stiff mid-rib, parallel veins and a long acuminate apex. The leaves are crowded towards the top of the branch and become recurved with age.
Flower: The small flowers are arranged in a large spreading woody branched panicle that is up to 500mm (20in) wide and appear during late spring.
Fruit: The globose berry is solitary with 3-cells and is green maturing to orange-red. The small seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
