Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period. Bottom heat may encourage fast root development.
Note:
All parts of the plant including seeds are narcotic and poisonous and if ingested it may be lethal.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dull green leaves are variable from oblong to broad ovate or narrow-elliptical and is slightly pubescent. The apex is acuminate and the margins are undulating and the underside has prominentveins.
Flower: The pendant tubulate flowers have 5-reflex pointed lobes that are yellow to pink and are fragrant during the night. They appear from early to late summer.
Fruit: The elongated smooth fleshy indehiscent berry is pendant. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
