Propagation
Surface sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media, and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.


Botanic information
Leaf: The blue-green juvenile leaves are ovate up to 180mm (7in) long and are pendant. The concolorous adult leaves are lanceolate to broad lanceolate with an acuminate apex and a petiole up to 20mm (µin) long.

Flower: The small almost sessile flowers are arranged in a axillary cluster of 7 to 17 with terete peduncles up to 16mm (?in) long. The buds are club-shaped (clavate) to 9mm (?in) long and the opercula is conical. They appear during summer.

Fruit: The ovoid capsule has a level broad disk with three valves that are level or slightly descending.
