Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves vary from oblanceolate to ovate-elliptical with a cuneate base. The petiole is short and is covered in dense fur and the apex is obtuse to slightly acute.
Flower: The cyathiform flowers are sessile with 5-reflexed white lobes and are arranged in a loose terminal cymose corymb (cluster) that appears during midsummer.
Fruit: The globular, inferior berry is fleshy and arranged in pendant terminal cluster. It is ribbed when dry and is editable and the small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
