Propagation
Surface sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media, and maintain a temperature of 16ş to 18ş C. (61ş to 64ş F). Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.


Botanic information
Leaf: The small sessile elliptical leaves are arranged densely and spreading along the stems. The apex is acute and the new growth is light green.

Flower: The small lime-green cyathiform flowers have stamens up to 20mm (ľin) long and are arranged in a cylindrical spike up to 50mm (2in) long. It appears form late winter to early spring.

Fruit: The compressed globular capsule persists on the plant anc contains many tiny seeds.
