Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring or autumn in pots.
Division of the rhizome during spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The orbicular leaves have a cordate base and undulating margins that are slightly serrated. The underside is pale green and the petiole is up to 125mm (5in) long.
Flower: The yellow flower-heads are arranged in a raceme that is held above the foliage on a slender scape and appears during spring.
Fruit: The cypsela is not commonly used and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
