Sow fresh seeds and place in a protected environment until spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The smaller canopy leaves are ovate with an entire margin and lower leaves are elliptical. The margins have variable serrations and are undulating and the petiole is up to 12mm (Ľin) long and the apex is acute.

Flower: The cyathiform flowers are solitary or arranged in a cluster in the leaf axil on a pedicel up to 12mm (˝in) long. The female flower is normally solitary and male flowers appear in a clusters on separate trees (dioecious). The flowers have 4 to 5 perianth segments.

Fruit: The oval drupe has a smooth fleshy mesocarp with a hard case containing a single seed. The seed is grooved on one side and is up to 12mm (˝in) long.
