Sow fresh seeds and place in a protected environment until spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The smaller canopy leaves are ovate with an entire margin and lower leaves are elliptical. The margins have variable serrations and are undulating and the petiole is up to 12mm (¥in) long and the apex is acute.

Flower: The cyathiform flowers are solitary or arranged in a cluster in the leaf axil on a pedicel up to 12mm (½in) long. The female flower is normally solitary and male flowers appear in a clusters on separate trees (dioecious). The flowers have 4 to 5 perianth segments.

Fruit: The oval drupe has a smooth fleshy mesocarp with a hard case containing a single seed. The seed is grooved on one side and is up to 12mm (½in) long.
