Propagation
Plant the bulbils during spring.
Divide established clumps (tubers) during early spring while dormant.


Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green leaves are broad ovate with a cordate base, acuminate apex and a short petiole. The surface is pleated with 12-prominentveins and is an attractive feature of the plant.

Flower: The small dioecious campanulate flowers have 6-tepals and are arranged in a axillary raceme. They appear from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The fruit is not commonly used and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively. After fruiting the plant dies back.
