Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 12º to 15º C. (55º to 59º F).

Take semi-hardwood cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.
Divide the suckers during spring.

Botanic information
Leaf: The broad elliptical pointed leaves have double serrated margins with an uneven base and a short petiole. There are 14-pairs of lateral veins and the upper surface is glabrous with slight pubescence on the underside.

Flower: The small campanulate flowers have 4 to 8 segments that are joined at the base and arranged in a small cluster that appears during late winter.

Fruit: The small samara surrounded by a membranous wing. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
