Propagation
Sow seed when ripe and place in a cold frame to germinate.

Take semi-hardwood cuttings during summer apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile leaves are obovate to oblong with an obtuse apex. The texture is leathery and the margin is finely toothed.

Flower: The large radiate flowers have pale yellow ray florets and darker yellow disk florets. They are held above the foliage on a tall scape and appear during summer.

Fruit: The cypsela has pappus that are deciduous with awns or bristles and the seed is very viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
