Propagation
Sow fresh seed during autumn in pots and place in a cold frame to germinate.
Take semi hardwood cuttings from late summer to autumn.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile leaves are linear to narrow oblong and is stiff and leathery with an acute apex. They appear in groups of 3 to 4 oppositely along the stems and the colour varies from mid green to dark green.

Flower: The small male and female tubulate flowers have 4 to 5 lobes and exserted stamens. They appear on different plants (dioecious) and are normally arranged in an axillary cluster or are solitary, appearing during summer.

Fruit: The small berry-like drupe is pale to dark blue and the seeds are very viable. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
