Propagation
Sow seed when ripe and place in a cold frame to germinate.
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring and semi hardwood cuttings during late summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The ovate leaves are pubescent particularly when young and the margins may be undulating. It has an acute apex and a short petiole. During hot weather the leaves give off an incense-like odour.

Flower: The bisexual crateriform flowers are arranged in a terminal cyme that consists of 2 to 3 blooms. The flower has 5-sepals, 5-petals and a superior 1-celled ovary. They appear form late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The small capsule has 10-valves and releases tiny seeds that contain endosperm. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
