Takes stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots in spring or autumn.
Botanic information
Leaf: The narrow linear sessile leaves are arranged along the stems at an interval of 25mm (1in).
Flower: The small tubulate flowers are green to blue-violet appearing either during spring or autumn, but in tropical regions the flowering period may vary.
Fruit: The capsule contains small seed that have a basal plumose tail but is not commonly used and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
