Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are narrow-linear and are almost terete in cross section and covered in fine white hairs. They are sessile laying flat against the stems and the apex tappers to a pointed. When crushed the leaves are aromatic.
Flower: The pinkish stellate flowers have 5-petals with an inward pointing apex and the anthers are yellow. The reddish slender sepals are covered in whitish hairs and the flowers are arranged in the leaf axils towards the end of the stems forming dense heads during late winter.
Fruit: The fruit is a schizocarp capsule with 5-valves. The small seed is not commonly used and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
