Propagation
Sow seed when ripe in pots and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F), may require pre soaking in water with a small amount of detergent for ten minutes.

Take cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.

Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are broad ovate to oblong and are sessile, clasping the stem. The thick textured leaves tends to fold upwards and the apex is sharply acuminate.

Flower: The small white to pink stellate flowers have 5 pointed petals and are arranged in the leaf axils. They appear from late winter to spring.

Fruit: The tiny fruit is a schizocarp capsule with 5-valves. The small seed is not commonly used and the plant is normally reproduced vegetatively.
