Sow fresh seeds in situ during spring in a prepared bed with frost protection.


Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile ovate leaves are finely divided into linear lobes (filiform) each with an acuminate apex. The flowers are surrounded at the base with very finely and delicate leaves.

Flower: The crateriform flowers have 5 petal-like sepals and up to 10-petals that are 2-lipped at there apex. The flowers are arranged terminally and are surrounded by a nest leaves (involucre). They appear from spring to early summer.

Fruit: The inflated pod-like capsule is pale green and is united at the top with persistent styles attached. The dried pods are used in flower arrangements.
