Take cuttings during late summer and placed on a misting bench.

Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are lanceolate to narrow-elliptical and are sessile or have a very short peduncle. The thickish leaf is covered in glands and the apex is acute. When young the leaves tend to arch backwards from the stem.

Flower: The cyathiform flowers have curled stamens in bundles up to 60 that give the flower a frilly appearance. They are arranged in an axillary spike on the older wood and the flowering period is from spring to summer but may extend throughout the year under favourable conditions.

Fruit: The cup-shaped capsule have persistent calyx lobes around the rim. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
