Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring and semi hardwood cuttings during late summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are obovate to elliptical and are glabrous above and pubescent beneath. It has an acuminate apex and a cuneate base with the margin sharply serrated. The leaves are bronze-coloured when young becoming green then turning orange-red in autumn before falling.

Flower: The white flower are campanulate to rotate are arranged in a dense corymbose panicle that is up to 50mm (2in) wide and appear from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The small elliptical pome contains tiny small seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively. The fruit persists on the shrub and are eaten by birds.
