Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).

Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring and semi hardwood cuttings during late summer.


Botanic information
Leaf: The pinnate leaves have 15 to 31elliptical to oblong-obovate leaflets that are up to 12mm (½ in) long. They are glossy green above and grey-pubescence on the underside.

Flower: The small white cyathiform flowers have 5-rounded petals and numerous exserted stamens with yellow anthers. The slender green pedestal is up to 10 mm (? in) long and the flowers are arranged in terminal corymb that appears during spring.

Fruit: The small spherical pome is red-brown maturing to blue black and the small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
