Propagation
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark dull green leaves are broad ovate to oblong with an acuminate apex and a short petiole. The upper surface has a rough textured and both sides are covered stellate pubescence.
Flower: The white flowers are cyathiform to stellate and are arranged in a terminal or axillary cylindrical panicle that is up to 150mm (6in) long. The flowers have a honey scent and the colour may be tinged in pink. They appear from late spring to early summer.
Fruit: The small capsule is a dehiscent and the small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
