Propagation
Sow seed when ripe in pots and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F), may requires scarification or pre soaking in acidic water for several hours.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are obovate to oblong and is semi glossy green. The apex is acuminate with a sharp point and the short reddish petiole is up to 10mm (?in) long.
Flower: The tubulate flowers have 4-recurved petals with a yellowish ting and a protruding style with a greenish stigma. They are arranged in a cluster normally with 7-blooms, and multiple clusters appear towards the end of the branches from spring to early summer.
Fruit: The woody follicle has a hard texture with a short beak and each valve has a long horn.
