Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring to early summer.
Divide the suckers during spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile dull green leaves are linear to oblanceolate and is toothed towards the apex along the margins.
Flower: The 5-petalled blue rotate flowers have 5-alternate stamens that are grouped in the centre. The flowers are arranged in a terminal corymb that appears from spring to early summer.
Fruit: The tiny schizocarpic nut contains 2-cells with 2-seeds. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
