Propagation
Sow fresh seed during early spring and pre-soak seeds in heated water 13º to 18ºC (55º-64ºF) for 24 hours. Seeds may require scarification (peeling treatment).

Take soft and tip or semi hardwood cuttings from summer to autumn. Graft onto rootstock during late summer or during winter under glass.

Botanic information
Leaf: The arching sessile pinnate leaves have up to 35-pairs of linear leaflets that are up to 15mm (?in) longand are covered in fine pubescence with a mucronate apex.

Flower: The small tubulate flowers are covered in fine pubescence and have a long protruding slightly bent style is up to 20mm (µin). The flowers are arranged in pairs along a one sided terminal raceme that appears from late winter to spring and sporadically throughout the year. The flowers are bird pollinated.

Fruit: The oblong follicle is up to 9mm (?in) wide with a thin pubescent pericarp and contain oblong seeds to 8mm (?in) long with recurved margins with a waxy border.The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
