Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.

This species may be difficult to obtain from nurseries.
Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green leaves are oblong to broad lanceolate and are covered in short whitish hairs and the underside has a greyish appearance. The texture is thick with a blunt apex and the petiole is up to 15mm (½in) long.
Flower: The tiny 5-pettled cyathiform flowers are arranged in a dense head that is surrounded by up to 4-rows of bracts that are tomentose. It has broad outer bracts and narrow inner bracts. The pendant flower head is up to 30mm (1¥in) wide and has a short peduncle. They appear during spring.
Fruit: The capsule contains small seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
