Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 18º to 21º C. (64º to 75º F).
Take semi-hardwood cuttings taken during summer and apply bottom heat.
Botanic information
Leaf: The bright green pinnate leaves have 5 to 13 oblong to elliptical shaped leaflets. The leaves have a long petiole and the leaflets are short stalked or sessile. The apex is acute and the upper surface is textured with prominentvenation.
Flower: The funnelform flowers are arranged in terminal raceme or panicle that is up to 150mm (6in) long. The flowers may appear through summer or in early autumn.
Fruit: The small narrow capsule is oblong, green turning brown at maturity. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
