Propagation
Sow fresh seed during autumn in pots and place in a cold frame to germinate and maintain a temperature of 16ş to 18ş C. (61ş to 64ş F).

Botanic information
Leaf: The narrow-elliptical leaves have a cuneate base with a short red petiole and an acuminate apex. The texture is leathery the underside is pale green.

Flower:The narrow tubular flower has 4-expanding lobes that are narrow and flattened with a protruding style. They are arranged ina dense spherical axillary umbel on stalks up to 30mm (Ľin) long, solitary or in groups towards the end of the branches.They appear from spring to summer.

Fruit: The slender pendant follicle has a woody textured surface and becomes flattened splitting down one side. It contains flattened oblong seeds up to 12mm (˝in) long and arranged with a thin membrane between each seed.
