Propagation
Surface sow seeds immediately after collecting and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Take semi hardwood cuttings taken during late summer to autumn. These may be difficult to root up, use hormones and no bottom heat.

Botanic information
Leaf: The glabrous leathery dark green leaves are elliptical to oblong and up to 40mm (1½in) wide. The apex is obtuse and the short reddish petiole is up to 5mm (¥in) long.

Flower: The nectar rich crateriform flowers have 5-broad triangular sepals and 5-small oblong petals. The exserted stamens are numerous and are up to 20mm (µin) long. They are arranged in aterminal paniculated cyme that appears during early summer.

Fruit: The small woody capsule is exserted in the upper part and contains numerous small seeds that have a short viability period but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
