Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 10º to 13º C. (50º to 55º F).

Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during late spring and semi hardwood cuttings during late summer. Apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy drk green leaves are ovate to lanceolate with an acuminate apex and a short petiole.

Flower: The white rotate flowers have crinkled petals (crepe like) with a yellow centre and a star-shaped calyx. They are arranged in a terminal panicle that is up to 200mm (8in) long and appear during late summer.

Fruit: The small woody capsule persists on the tree and the small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
