Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Take stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots in spring or autumn.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are 1 to 3 pinnate with purple tinged leaflets that have an acute apex and have a prominentmid rib. The purplish petiole is long and the leaflets are bright green to dark green.

Flower: The radiate flower has tiny disk florets and 5-large ray florets and are arranged terminally above the foliage on a short scape. They appear from summer to early autumn.

Fruit: The small cypsela is slender with barbed ends that are up to 5mm long and are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
