Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in pots and place in a cold frame to germinate.

Divide established clumps in spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The silver-grey leaves are obovate to broad-lanceolate with an acute apex and a short flattish petiole. When crushed the leaves are very aromatic and the surface is covered in fine silvery pubescence.

Flower: The small white 2-lipped tubulate flowers are arranged in a branched panicle that is held above the foliage on a tall scape. They appear from midsummer to autumn.

Fruit: The small nuts contain seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
